Today I tried on swimsuits at Target. Normally this is a really hard thing for me to do. But today as I looked in the mirror and was happy. The girl looking back at me wore a pink push up top and pink string bottoms. She had somewhat curvy hips, long legs, and glowing pale skin. Sure I still saw some of my flaws, but for once I was able to look past them and turn them into something positive. I’m so happy, maybe this summer won’t be so hard.
I’m seventeen, holy crap.
